- State Football Champions 3 times in 1990’s, including 5 State Finals and 10 League Championships at Sabino HS.
- Coach-of-the-Year 14 times in 4 States, State All-Star Coach 4 Times. League Champions 15 times, Won 23 Consecutive Games from 1998-99.
- Left HS coaching with 46 Consecutive Region Wins, and 27 Consecutive Home Wins.
- Played 8 Out-of-State Games (7-1 record) at Sabino HS, where teams were ranked #13, #17, and #24 in “USA Today”.
- Defeated defending National Champion Glendale College in Pima College’s Inaugural Game (2001). Ranked #14 during 1st season and up to #3 in nation during 2nd.
- Defeated Kilgore, TX (#3) in inaugural Pilgrim’s Pride Bowl Classic on national TV and finished #5 in the nation in 2004, which featured upsets of #6 Glendale and #1 Dixie State.
- Took Tucson Santa Rita HS from 0-10 to 11-2 (State Semi’s) in 2007, the biggest turnaround is state history. Selected large school Coach-of-the-Year by the Arizona Republic, the state’s largest newspaper in Phoenix.
- Head Coach for Team USA vs. Japan in the U19 Kawasaki Bowl in Tokyo, March 2008 with scholar-athletes selected from all over the country.
